The Mayan civilization was a very complex society. Today, many of the Mayans believe they are descendants of the Mongolian people of Asia because both races have a similar birthmark at the end of their spine.
The Mayan were very advanced in technology from their calendar to their city development. For instance, the building on the right is a temple but it is also a light house in Tulum. The photo on the left is the Temple in Chichen Itza where the stair rails on the sides represent the snake and comes to life during the different solstice.
